Exciting Breakthrough

Our son Jack is just a couple days past 9 months.

And another exciting breakthrough.

He plays a game with Marie where she makes a funny movement and makes him laugh.  Thye've been doing it for a few weeks.

Now today, was the first day HE made a funny move with his hands to make Marie laugh!

Incredible.

Even when he fell asleep in the Bjorn this evening, he did it a couple times in his sleep.

Wonderful day!

  • Looking for a Great Movie?

OK, I’ll admit I’m addicted to movies.

I love watching great movies, and movies that miss the mainstream.

Here a great place to find a DVD tonight.

  • Halloween Update from Jack

    Hey everybody.

Jack wanted me to update you a bit.  He's now 4 months old – and doing great.  He prefers sleeping in short spurts, and smiles all the time.

His hobbies include rolling over and drooling.

And he wanted me to send you this picture of his trip to the local pumpkin patch.

Update: I'm having some trouble having the picture show up IN the post.  It's worth the click.  So here it is.

    Enjoy your evening everybody!

  • Welcome to the World

    Hi Everyone,

Please help us welcome our new baby to the world.  (It's our first!)

JACK LOWELL MURRAY was born June 21st, 2008 at 7:31 Atlantic Time.

It was a truly life-changing experience, and we're really looking forward to the challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead.

(Of course, we may not be posting as frequently to our blog for the near future.  All those sleepless nights and all.)  But we will be continuing to post weekly for sure.

But we think the trade-off is worth it!

If you're so inclined, you can check out some pics here.
