I read a lot of books. You could even say that I'm addicted to buying books.

To me, it makes sense. You can leverage the condensed knowledge of other people, tightened to their most focussed set of teachings. What could be better?

But learning from books is not as easy as it looks. In fact, most people have trouble learning from books. Part of the reason is that most people do not take notes of highlight when reading non-fiction they want to learn from. I used to worry about marking up perfect books, but if your ultimate result is to MASTER the material… then you should highlight AND take notes.

Another reason is implementation.

Implementation is the main missing ingredient in learning. It's just so much easier not to. So you have to force yourself to develop the habit of implementing your new knowledge immediately.

This is exactly what I did when I started learning about making money with stocks. I made some small errors, but I learned through implementation.

But the one thing I read over and over is that successful millionaires express gratitude for learning from a mentor.

Learning from the right mentor is the easiest way to find success in any kind of business venture. (And just about everything else too!)

If you go right back to the great Think and Grow Rich book by Napoleon Hill, the whole book was created as a 30+ year challenge from Andrew Carnegie that great Scots Steel baron, to Napoleon Hill: Go and seek out the most successful people and find out how they act and how they think.

(You can get an audio version and workbook edition at my law of attraction site.)

I have met a lot of individuals who are trying to make money online with a home business or by selling affiliate products. And very few of them actually recognize the value of a mentor. It's miles more valuable than the price of any program.

When people look for a home business, the MOST important factor is who you are going to be working with and learning from.

The number 1 complaint of people I speak with who have been in a home business before and are unhappy is their sponsor. That's #1. So don't make that mistake yourself when you are looking for a home business.
